Skydrol 500B-4
Skydrol 500 series liquids have the longest service history among phosphate ester products. The first version, the Skydrol 500, was introduced in 1952. Continuous improvement of the formulation led to the current version of Skydrol ™ 500B-4, which contained the same groundbreaking anti-erosion additive and acid cleaner found in skydrol ™ LD-4 in 1977. Skydrol 500B-4 is the most worker friendly of aviation phosphate esters. This gave the product great popularity for use in workshops and indoor test stands.
